AYOM – black atlantic music

It's never the wrong time for cross-genre Brazilian-Angola-Cape Verdean swing enriched with accordion. The star of the show is the singer Jabu Morales, who, together with the excellent fellow musicians - three of them percussionists - assembles the various styles into a quivering transatlantic triangle. They don't reinvent the wheel, but their music is a concentrated load of passion and you can feel the sun on your face. Not a bad thing, right?
