Skiing and Snowboarding

With Brambrüesch, the Alpine City of Chur has its own winter sports area with a ski lift and chair lift up to 2,200 m above sea level. Thanks to the Chur Cableways, the local mountain can be reached in just a few minutes. Other family-friendly and inexpensive ski resorts are in the immediate vicinity of the Alpine City.

Those who prefer more kilometres of piste and fun parks for carving fun or freeskiing adventures can quickly reach Arosa-Lenzerheide or Flims-Laax. Various top ski resorts in Graubünden are easily accessible from Chur. And you get the return journey partly for free or for an extra charge of only 1 franc!

From Brambrüesch, ski tours are possible to the Dreibündenstein and Fulhorn as well as between the three areas of Brambrüesch, Feldis and Pradaschier.

Brambus-Center

The Brambus Center is located opposite the Bergbaiz and the valley station of the ski lift. It includes public toilets, lockers, an information office and the AIS sports school with its facilities.

The Outside Chur Experience Service Centre offers top ski rental and ski service right in the centre of Chur. It is centrally located in the city and in the immediate vicinity of the valley station of the Brambrüesch winter sports area in Chur and at the starting point for several top ski areas in Graubünden

Tschiertschen

32 km of slopes and a snow park await you in Tschiertschen, easily accessible by car or post bus. The area is well known and popular among freeriders.

Feldis

In a short time you reach Rhäzüns, from where you can reach the village of Feldis by cable car. The ski area above includes a chair lift, two children's ski lifts and 10 km of slopes.

Pradaschier

The station in Churwalden can be reached quickly from Chur by car or post bus. By chair lift and ski lift you reach Windegga at 2'230 m with fantastic panoramic views and perfectly groomed slopes.

Hochwang

The sun-kissed area offers winter sports experiences and hiking possibilites in the middle of a splendid mountain world. From Chur, it can be reached by car or by public transpot in about 30 minutes.

Arosa-Lenzerheide

225 km of slopes, numerous rustic mountain huts and free arrival and return journey from Chur by public transport (day pass valid as train or bus ticket between Arosa, Chur and Lenzerheide.

Flims-Laax

You can reach Flims-Laax from Chur by car or post bus in about 20 - 30 minutes. Europe's leading freestyle resort has 4 snow parks and 224 km of slopes.

Davos Klosters

The fastest access from Chur to the Davos Klosters ski area is by car or railway to the Gotschna station in Klosters.
